Day-to-day

  • sorts and sequences items for delivery
  • delivers mail, parcels, documents and other items to customers' premises and mailboxes
  • receives orders for deliveries from customers
  • collects signatures and charges for cash-on-delivery orders
  • issues and collects receipts for pick-up and delivery items
  • keeps records of items received and delivered.

To become a Courier

  • You can work as a Courier without formal qualifications. Some on the job training may be provided. A certificate II or III in driving operations might be helpful.
