Certification with one of Australia's accounting peak bodies is essential. The course of study you take determines whether you can certify with:
A Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Business (Majoring in Accounting) or similar is required to become CPA or ICAA certified. A Diploma of Accounting gives IPA certification.
